At the Seldin/Haring-Smith Foundation (SHSF), we regularly produce original research and data sets. We’re also obsessed with simple, usable products.

There’s a lot of excess material generated through our work, and the work of other scholars in our fields of focus. Whether probative, thought-provocative, or entertaining, we have created Footnotes to host informal insights from the SHSF team. This blog will also feature announcements about new releases, and (hopefully) help advance our core mission: equitable access to public services and accountability for abuse of authority within the United States.
